Carcoat with Badalassi Carlo Leather Recommendation

I am currently in the market for a leather carcoat. My budget is around 2000-2500 ideally, but maximum 3000. I want to get this jacket for the next winter, which is about 6 months from now so I am not really looking into something like the Canuck from Himel as he normally takes about more than a year and there are so many unpredictable variables with ordering from him (someone on this forum waited for even 2 years). I know some leather jacket dealers who can get me a car coat from japanese brands like colimbo, rainbow country, and real mccoy, but then again I have already four Shinki jackets. Staying undercover in the forum for several years, I have been seeing people constantly hailing Badalassi Carlo leather as one of the best. I have owned different kind of leather, so would love to add Badalassi to my collection.
The only option for me that I found is the Stockman from Aero, and they offer Badalassi. That one is okay but I am not really thrilled by the design as I would love something with a little bit more intricate patterns. After spending a long time reading posts in this forum, I kind of know all the leather makers’ names that people here usually mentioned, but could not find a maker (either over the counter or made to order with less than 6 months wait time) that offers what I want. So I would love to hear your recommendations on where to find a great Car coat with Badalassi Carlo leather! If it’s too much of a hassle, I may just lean back to the Shinko route.

I like the Pegasus car coat. I do not know if they are making it in Badalassi. Vanson made a TT model on a superb hide. I have seen them in tan and black. Personally, the quality of those products are excellent. Lastly, Vanson's model J is real nice. I have all the mentioned above. My favorite car coat type is LW in both tan and black HH.

Aero's Work Coat would fit the bill. Simmons Bilt does a fantastic car coat with nice pocket designs.

Thank you for the recommendation! I am still owning a Vanson for riding and I would say it’s one of the best riding jackets, however, I don’t like Vanson as a fashion statement because they are not detail oriented, and the stitches can be quite inconsistent some time. For Pegasus, it’s actually the first time I have heard about it, learn a new thing everyday. Can you tell me more about that brand? They seem to charge premium price, but the only leather with origin is their Shinki, and they are using the Shinki 1.2mm which is quite thin and lightweight. They do not mention the origin of their cowhide and goatskin. If you own one of them, how is the construction of the jacket?

Thank you! Do you mind telling me the difference between their Work Coat and their Stockman? Also, does SB offer Badalassi?
The Work Coat is a 1920s style with a sharp collar and button tab side fasteners. It also has a lining which can extend on to the lower portion of the lapel (like a Canuck, see images). Mine is russet Badalassi, and it squeaks a fair bit. It has button cuffs which are lined with corduroy. The back of the collar is also lined with corduroy. It has horizontal slash pockets.

The Stockman has large panel'patch pockets with flaps and piping on the outside. It's longer (can be up to 31 inches on a size 40) and does not have button cuffs. I had one in black fqhh and it is definitely an overcoat (can easily layer under it).

Simmons Bilt may have Badalassi, but I don't recall seeing it. The Car Coat I have is a simple, fairly indestructible thing in Mustang Black steer hide (also squeaky). It's 29 inches in a size 40. The pockets are curved and can be tucked and have no piping.

Wow that one is beautiful! Make me want to order an Aero more! What do you think about Badalassi compared to the likes of Shinki, Vicenza, Horween… I haven’t held one so really curious haha

I understand your needs. Baladssi is beautiful hide. However, I have been a bit disappointed with their latest productions. Have you seen Thedi's line? He makes beautiful products.
Pegasus is a quality crafted jacket with superior hides.

Got this one from one of fine members:

Well, it's squeaky. It makes a lot of noise. Vicenza is one of my favourites - it's pliable, lighter, just as tough and ... silent.
