You lucky dog!
I'm sure it beats having to shovel snow just to get out of your own front door, but the enjoyment of the high temps is really wearing thin. We're supposed to get 1-3" of rain next week with temps in the mid-60s, and I'm REALLY looking forward to it! Well, until the atmospheric disturbance blocks our satellite TV signal, that is. lol

50 yesterday, 74 today, and close to 80 tomorrow.
Yep, in TX with the inlaws. :D
Good thing I packed 2 wardrobes, but I'm thinking about going to the big city to buy a few more short sleeve shirts.
My FIL needs a few nice shirts, that Walmart just doesn't carry....:p

I've already had it with winter. And the damned mice in the Garage! They have been trained. Professional. I am positive about that. I purchased 12 normal traps....8 big heavy glue traps. Those traps have been placed all around in the Garage. I set them up with peanut butter and on the glue traps I even added a sugar cube. That was two days ago. I check the traps. I see no mice in any trap....but all the bait is GONE! I told you these mice are professionals. So now, I have to get down and mean and nasty with them. I'll have to be careful where I may have to aim my revolver, but I have a 45 long that has some "shot loads" for it. I'll just have to go out and sit long enough to see where those little rascals are hiding and then it is on! To the death!

A "Viet Cong" mouse trap:
Masking tape can secure a mouse trap/with a hair trigger latch/with bait set and taped upon same. Cut spam cubes are ideal for this purpose. The trap taped to your garage concrete floor and the bait taped to the latch are key to its effectiveness.

I will give that a try...but I really think these mice are professionals...lol!

Man has got something to brag about. Don't sulk, James. :p
...by the way, how many times have we read about your orchard? lol (got something in there? making any pies lately?)

Yeah but he doesn't know how lucky he is. Complaining about good weather.

No pies yet. The grapefruit are dropping like rain but they are garbage fruit anyway. No one wants to eat that around here.
