At Last & Co?

I’ve started going down this At Last &Co/Timeworn Clothing/Butcher Products rabbit hole. It all started when I stumbled upon one of their reproduction leather togs jackets with a beautiful white and black houndstooth liner. It was super expensive like pushing Freewheelers and Himel territory and I passed on it but it did get my interest piqued in the brand. There isn’t a lot of info out there, Brogue in California is an official seller and has a small blurb but that’s all I can really find. There’s very few Items for sale and the leather jackets I’ve found seem to be really nice, on par with Rainbow country and freewheeleers but with a little more traditional cut. Can anybody comment after owning one of these jackets is it worth the nearly 3k you’d have to spend to get one? Do they use Shinki leather, not that I care just curious where they source from, and would I be better just getting an easier to source aero or Himel? A lot of the mystique seems to center on not making a lot which Doesn’t really matter to me.

I can't comment on their leather jackets but I own many pieces (e.g. jackets, chinos, jeans, etc) from At Last, Timeworn and Butcher Products. What truly stands out to me every time is the masterful craftsmanship and the time-period accurate cuts/proportions.

I have one leather jacket from them - as I was told by the guys from VMC who retail At Last it’s Italian horsehide. Probably one of the best and most comfortable leather jackets I have. Quality is impressive, though not that much publicity as RMC or Freewheelers or others. 3k I believe is quite expensive - you can order them directly from At Last via mail order. With weak yen they should not cost that much even with tariffs unless it’s some of the past seasons and it’s sold out.

Yeah I guess the 3k dollar jacket is a “early” or first year they made one of the jackets which I dont understand why that would be better you’d think they would be more refined each year they were made. I’ll reach out to At Last directly thank you.

As far as I know they were making jackets already back in 2019 - unless it’s NOS I would say the price is too high. 2 years ago I got mine for 1980 chf when the rate was not that big to usd. If I’m not mistaken in 2024 one of the loungers was able to get the jacket directly for 1900 USD shipped. Though no tariffs at that time or some trade agreements making everything below 3k usd from Japan w/o tariffs. But idk the current situation.
