Hi all! Long time no post. As soon as the heat hits my area, I have to say goodbye to all my leather. I really wish I lived in a place with perpetual autumn or early winter weather, just so I could enjoy my jackets every day.
Anyway, getting to the point: I picked up this burgundy cafe racer a few weeks ago. However, after a deep dive comparing its pattern and doing a reverse image search, I still haven't been able to ID the maker. This jacket has me totally baffled: it features a four-pocket design, Scovill zippers, no tags anywhere, and an olive green lining that looks a lot like what Schott used back in the day. My guess is that it's made of steerhide, but I could be wrong.
What do you think? Calling all cafe racer experts! I must say this style isn't usually my thing, I'm definitely a cross-zip fan, but I really wanted to give this one a chance. Thanks in advance!
