Say what you want about her and her choices in life, but it is a very tragic story. This is quite a shock. I can't help but feel that she was chewed up and spit out several times in her life.

I agree. That world, Hollywood, Modeling, Stripping, Etc., I'm sure "That World" can really eat some people alive. I feel sorry for her.

I have two daughters who are only toddlers, God only knows what the future can hold for them. I only hope they choose what's best for them. All I can do, is try my best to teach them right from wrong and self-respect, they have to take it from there.

I liked Anna, but for those who differ.....she was some bodies baby girl.

I told my husband after her son had died that her attorney/husband
should be closely watched b/c if he did father the little girl that someday
he might knock off Anna Nicole and all the money he has been savoring for years and years will be all his. He could have easily had her sign everything over to him & to her infant child.

How strange isn't it? That he would father a child with her (and she seemed to be easily manipulated and let this guy Howard do anything) and then her son dies and then she dies. IF anything...it seems as if the death of her son would have made her want to be a great mom to her daughter. I know she had serious issues, and there does seem to be quite a bit piling up on her plate with the DNA paternity suit, Trimspa suits, along with the death of her dear son. That really is enough to drive anyone to drink. I am just speculating really bad here...but out of all the fruit cakes in Anna Nicole's life...Howard, her attorney seemed the most suspicious of them all. He seemed as if he was taking care of her, but I always felt he was there for all those millions of dollar that might have been coming her way someday.

Poor Anna...she has been used so horribly because she was seriously uneducated. I thought she was a real ding dong, but she didn't seem like she was out to hurt anyone. She was an outrageous personality who depended on pills, drinking, and Howard to get through her last few years. In the end I think they all took their toll.

I will remember her in the days when she posed in ads for Guess? products. She was so gorgous and I would hang her pics up on my wall b/c she had such a gorgeous vintage bombshell look.

RIP Anna Nicole...

With all due respect, why is this news? I don't get what America's obsession with these people stems from. Hundreds of people will do the exact same tonight. But will they be all over TV and the internet? No. So, I don't get what the fuss is over this one event. I just don't understand what the big fuss is over actors. There are much better, and more important stores out there rather than this.

That's the bottom line right there. If I'd walked a few miles in her shoes, maybe I'd understand enough to judge her motives and life. As I thankfully haven't, I'll simply recognise the tragedy in the death of another human being.

Why is it news? Well, famous people fill a lot of roles in our lives. Dramatic actors make us think and feel, comedians make us laugh, musicians fill our souls with music; and sadly, some famous people teach us how not to live and even how not to die.

Anna wasn't legally married to her attorney,Howard Stern. Their symbolic wedding in the Bahamas was only that. The attorney had admitted,to friends, of having a vasectomy several years ago. Methamphetamines had controlled her life for years. Your right..Stern is suspected of supplying those needs and probably worse. A DNA test is still ordered. It's presumed Anna's old boyfriend is the father. It looks like there will be a payment of 83 million eventually payed out to her heir.
This info was taken from discussions on several news channels.

It is a sad day when anyone dies,no matter whom. But,as has been said here, most humans control their own destiny.Play with fire, one gets burned eventually. She had problems, yes. But she also had many years to work on them and clean up.
How many more would it take before she would be really happy???
We will never know. The one who really suffers here is her daughter. The only saving grace is that she is way too young to feel the pain of the loss of a mother.

;) ....yeah...I know...I did think about this...however, she did seem to love the guy in the only way she knew how to love. Anyhow, I am putting this topic & my "howard' conspiracy to bed. My feeble mind is begging of it.

How sad for someone to die so young. I sort of liked her, she reminded me physically not so much of Marilyn Monroe, but of another "bombshell" who died young: Jayne Mansfield.

This paternity thing gets more and more crazy, how many other guys will step forward to declare they are the father? What if no one's DNA matches? What if it was some guy she had a hot encounter with and that was it?

Some interesting legal stuff coming up.....

interesting to see how the press are dealing with this. All sobs and heartache for poor Anna. Pity they weren't so compassionate when she was having other troubles. Then it was all ridicule of Anna the junky, Anna the gold-digger, Anna the slob, Anna the loser.

God, i hate the gutter press.

So do I. The gutter media in general. I could never bear to watch that so-called "reality" show or whatever that brainless spectacle was supposed to be, that was on the idiot box a while ago.

Gawker sums it up best...

Some of the highlights:

"As a second-wave feminist, Anna Nicole was extremely concerned with women and body image issues. In partnership with a woman-friendly company called Trim Spa, she took her campaign to the streets. Her once waify model-weight increased at last to a healthy state."

"To honor her son's memory, she sold the last pictures ever taken of him for $650,000."
