Hi everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. I've had a hunt through the archives to see if this had been covered, but couldn't find anything.

Made my order last week on an Aero 1930's Slimfit (Cordovan CXFQHH) and I'm now like a wee lad waiting on Christmas day for it to arrive. I'm not one to pester craftspeople, so I wanted to check if anyone in this community had ordered custom from Aero during COVID to see if the 10-12 waiting time is accurate.

I've seen some gents wearing their 1930's Slimfit on this forum and was totally sold by the excellent reviews and great images, so thanks for the reinforcement!

I placed my order mid Sept. and was told 14-16 weeks. I’m not expecting to see it before April. As with everything else in the world an extra bit of patience is required.

That's a long wait! I've not heard anything since I placed my order, so I thought I'd ask here.

So we're looking like 5-6 months really?
I grabbed a 1930's Cordovan Halfbelt from the sales page..yesterday at 6am.. Ill have it today :O
I was considering a stock jacket, but I figured if I'm going to invest, I might as well go all out! Great news that you found one in stock to your size!

Custom is usually the best way to go as you'll get the exact jacket that you want.. the sales pages while great are a dangerous place to look because you end up buying a jacket you didn't know you wanted...

It's completely harmless to me because the standard sizes don't fit me anyway. *lol*

I placed an order for an M-422A in late July, had the details finalized yesterday, and was told that the estimated delivery time was mid-late November...so you're not alone there.

Much the same here. I ordered in mid July and finalised last week. It is a long wait but worth it.

Aero typically overestimate processing time but that’s good as you’re hardly going to be disappointed if they say 12 weeks and it turns up in 4. I think the longest I’ve waited is 6 weeks and the shortest is 10 working days, albeit this was a year ago.

However in the current climate I wouldn’t be mad if it takes a lot longer than the estimated time for your jacket to turn up since the order books will have stacked up during their shutdown but either way it’ll be more than worth it!

When I placed my order it was 8-10 weeks and it has been 12 weeks already. Today I asked for estimate and they said it is going to be 2 weeks more.

I finalised the spec at 12 weeks; next week will mark 14 weeks total.

IIRC, pre-COVID, my other jackets took 4 weeks and 8/9 weeks.

Looks like a fresh 4 week lockdown has been put in place, at least in England. Not sure if it will impact Aero. Honestly I’ll be happy to see my jacket in April or May.

If Nicola can hold off on her own lockdown for another week or so, just long enough to hopefully receive my jacket, I’ll forever say she’s a top lass.
