These 2 Adam brothers are nearly identical except for the wide/thin ribbons. The liners, brim binding, color, and markings (except color on the aqua shed marks) are all the same. Both are Mainliner Premier models in chrome.

One of mine is marked TP361 (earlier 40's model). The other doesn't have one.

Does one of them have a thicker edge binding?

Both are 1/4".

The TP3711 is the wide ribbon hat and the TP3812 is the thin ribbon.

New Adam "The Digby" arrived today. The oldest one I've seen by far, not sure but this could be a 20's one.

Has a very interesting sweatband seam/bow that I've never seen before.

It is definitely an early one I have a 30's one that looks decidedly newer in comparison, based on the fact that Adam started in 1922, it obviously has to be after that, but the latest has to be early 30's.

Wow! Other than the ribbons, they are the spittin' image of my Adam. Very nice!

I just got this nice Adam Premier pork pie off Etsy.com for $30, thinking I might present it to my brother-in-law for Christmas. It's too small for me at 7 3/8, and if it's too small for him, I guess it's going in the classifieds, although I might just keep it around because I like it. Yeah, they have the liner in there backwards. I'll fix that.

And here's what appears to be an oldie. I got this on ebay, but it arrived dirtier than it looked in the pictures; I'm not sure I'm motivated enough to put the (cleaning) work this one really needs. At any rate, it seems to be an interesting hat and worth adding to this thread . . .
