Afternoon everyone,
Here's another of my hats up for sale. This time a Royal Deluxe Stetson made for Maurice L Rothschild & Co. Based on the sweatband width and the reeding, my guess is this one is from the 1950s. It's a steel grey, and has zero mothing or damage of any kind. The Sweatband is still very supple and shows no signs of cracking or degradation, and is very firmly secured to the felt. The brim is finished with a semi light grey bound edge, and the black ribbon on the crown is finished with decorative stitching around the top circumference. The hat has been stored, properly, in a vintage hat box for most of the time that I've owned it.
All in all, it's a sturdy, well made hat, in fine condition. It's just been sitting in my collection for too long and deserves to be worn.
