For those of you that have have XM radio I though you may enjoy this little nugget.
I've been enjoying Radio Classics in the afternoon with such shows as The Whistler, Dimension X, The Shadow, The Green Hornet, Murder at Midnight and so on. They've been a load of fun to listen to and make the...
This one with James Coburn was on tonight on AMC. Very typical Spaghetti Wester to be sure. Great hat film to boot. I may have to add this to my collection of films.
Cheers!

Hi Gang!
Did anybody here happen to catch the 12 days of Bing Crosby Radio on XM/SIRIUS? (If you happen to have either service). It was a load of fun. I think it would be great if they had a station of his regular shows throughout the rest of the year.
If you happened to catch these holiday...
I found this one after reading the Grim Tales From Down Below. It is called Everafter, and it is the story of what happened to the Grimm Tales characters after their respective stories.

Really good read with a dark gothic touch.

Now, altthough westerns haven't enjoyed great success in theaters once in a while some good ones pop up. Appaloosa may be one of these. It has a great cast to support the story. Might not be Oscar material, but I think it will entertain.
This one has a trailer link in it...
This one looks like it will be a fun little movie this up coming season.

So, with the uber success of 300 and the upcoming Watchmen & The Spirit, when will Frank Miller's Ronin hit the big screen? There was some talk of it last year but nothing much since. I've Googled around and only found talk about it back in February of 2007. Anybody else here have some other...
While at Disneyland a couple of weekends ago wearing my Camptown Fieldmaster I got at least one "Dr. Jones" comment from one of the cast members, but it was said in the vein of a compliment with a tip of his cap and "Nice hat," following. I had several folks there (cast members & public alike)...
I caught the end of this one this evening. It's about FDR's fight with polio. From what I saw of it it looked pretty good. I liked the costumes especially. I was wondering if any of you have seen this film and what did you think of it?

Hello all!
I'm on the search for the title of a boo that I had read years ago. I remember the premise but not the title. The writer was female and if I remember correctly it was the first in a short series of fantasy novels.
The premise in a nutshell: A dying professor and his librarian...
Well it looks like Ken ofer at Camptown Hats is at it again. He recently came out with the new model of the "1957 Legend", is still pondering the idea of the "Noir" model of his 1945 Metropolitan and now he is entertaining the idea of delving into the arena of straws.
A few he is looking into...
Hello all,
So, in Raiders and now in KOTCS Indy asks his students to read Michaelson. This has peaked my interest to be sure. Is it a real book on Archaeology or is it something fictional for the movie. If it is a real book, do any of the experts out there know the title please? I would love...
Great video! This is the same video that is on the official Indiana Jones site though. It's been out for a few months now.
Thanks for sharing though, it is a fantastic looking set though. I sure would love to decorate a portion of my own home to look like that. All the little statues (replica...

Only a personal opinion here, but maybe it is long past high time the world boycotts products from China. Maybe, just maybe it will get someones attention to possibly rethink...
We just watched this one again and it just seems to get more fun with each watching. Our boy had never watched it before and was totally tickled with it. The roll on the floor laughter. Too cool!:)
In another thread I had mentioned I wanted to build a diorama of the scene outside of the USO...
I was watching '1941' the other night and wanted to find some screen captures of the M3 Lee tank that they had in the movie. I wanted these images because I'm going to build a little diorama of that tank & the Christmas street scene complete with the lamp post Santas. Anyway, I was Googling "M3...
Hello all!
I was wondering if any of you that are re-enactors or just collectors have ever bought any items from Alan over at AEF Supply. What is the quality of his recreated uniforms & equipment and what is it like ordering from him?
I've been wanting to order from him for some time and...
Hello all,
Well I've confounded myself. I had recently found a site (by sheer accident) that was offering a reproduction of a sleeveless v-neck sweater, similar to the style made by volunteers for the U.S. service man. But I broke my own rule and didn't write the site down or save the...
