For Ebay sellers, tips, tricks, questions, rants, raves

I stopped selling on the bay because for some reason Paypal started to hold the funds buyers paid me for up to 21 days. Completely arbitrary on their part. My seller rating is 100%. I still use eBay for buying, but they no longer get my money as a seller.

    SPARTACUS: BLOOD AND SAND

Visually I find it very appealing, the story and writing much less so. The acting is not bad, the actors just don't have very good material to work with. It's not quite pornography, but pretty close. Might as well call it Spartacus: S&M

    The Victorian Personals Ad

Came across this in the NY Times, an interesting take on the personals ad, showing they've been around since Victorian times: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/14/opinion/14epstein.html

    The Wolfman Remade

Saw it this afternoon. I thought they did a very good job evoking Victorian England. The sets and the costumes were really well done. Very atmospheric. Unfortunately to the right of me some guy was texting throughout the entire film, and just in front and below me a girl texted three or four...

    The Wolfman Remade

I agree. Latex and paint brings a certain physicality and realism that CGI just can't match.

    Leather conditioner for B-6 jacket?

Bickmore is the best conditioner available, referred to as Bick 4. It's used primarily for bridal leather. I was at a trade show recently where their booth showed an old saddle from WWI. Half of the saddle was untouched, the other half was used using the conditioner. I'm not kidding when I say...

    The Lost Art of Manliness

You're welcome. I think living the question is more interesting than arriving at absolutes. We're all different men living in different contexts. Have you bought/taken a look at the book?
