Funny, but the bail-out scenario didn't occur to me because the P-38 is a single seat aircraft, so those would be way too many parachutes!
Maybe they are all Japanese pilots that the P-38 just shot down. :p

I love it when someone can pull off a bow-tie with a casual look. This old workwear is perfect for that, tailored elements combined with a rough fabric.

Dreamofgilgamesh, Your 'sleeveless pullover' is very nice. Apart from looking 1920s-1940s, the pattern has a certain medieval flair that is very appealing.
Hard to pull off though. I find the approval of my peers at least a bit important, and no-one objects to a tweed jacket and tie, but I can't see a tucked in jumper going down well. :p
