    HUFVUD HATMAKER | Lund, Sweden

I was going through withdrawal, especially with my Hufvud, so I wore it out last night. The humidity was too much, though, and it ended up on my backseat (much to my chagrin) shortly after I arrived at my destination.

    Buzz Cuts ?

My goodness, you've got great hair. If it was mine I'd grow it back and leave it at that length.

    Your signature cocktail.

Lately I've been drinking vodka-n-diet fudge soda.

    Buzz Cuts ?

Yes, head, facial, and, um, other areas is what I was talking about, so thanks for the clarification.

    Buzz Cuts ?

I've been buzz cutting myself since 1995. I bought a Wahl that summer, and finally replaced the blades last year. Oil them after every use and they last. I'm currently using the #1 attachment on my head and facial hair because my curly facial hair irritates the $%^& out of me under the mask.

When the robo-voice says, 'Say or select,' I always select.

    Cowboy hats - opinions?

Yes, the severely upturned sides are basically pointless for sun protection. I prefer the style in your avatar, a gradual upturn at the very edge.

And on my current new phone, I can't even switch that off. Argh.

Technical features, you can really do without?

There is a scene in Star Trek: The Voyage Home (1986), where the crew goes back in time to our present, on a mission to save the species of humpback whale. They find a design firm so they can 'invent,' or rather build something with their future technology called 'transparent aluminum,' which...

    Cowboy hats - opinions?

Since I'm about 16 (1976), I've worked and spent large amounts of time outside in all types of weather. A straw or felt 'cowboy' or 'western' hat was a part of my wardrobe until I embraced fedoras (and they began to become more available) beginning about 20 years ago. I've never liked the sun...

Technical features, you can really do without?

I'm not quite sure I understand this. Do you mean on cars? I've had both power, and hand-crank windows freeze up on me, and either one is a PITA to free-up. Unless it's as hot as the sun outside, I drive with the windows down, and when I've had 4-door sedans with hand crank windows, I can't...

Technical features, you can really do without?

I try not to do any of that stuff on my phone. I find it irritating for anything other than taking a picture or video, texting, or actually making a call. Apps are a pain, and the regular computer screen version of place such as this are too $%^&ing small, even when magnified with that little...

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Congrats, Max. I'm glad you were able to find what is for you a dream hat. I know how ecstatic I was to get this Cav. Yes, there is a tag under the sweat and liner, but I am always loathe to start pulling on sweats and liners in older hats, especially enough to take a picture, and again...
