Favorite Crown Shape
My two favorites, and actually the only ones in all my hats, are center dent and diamond. And it depends on the hat. At the most simple, if a center-dented hat's sides are not straight up enough for me, I widen the top into a diamond. But sometimes that doesn't work, either, depending on the...- scottyrocks

Hats and Drinks - A Match Made in Heaven
My Hufvud, last week at Sasa Asian Bistro in Shaker Heights, Cleveland. Just in front of the hat is a pot of hot tea, and just out of the frame is a double hot sake. And to give the restaurant credit where credit is due, the food was delicious, and the service was exemplary.- scottyrocks

I was in my local vintage VW repair shop today when a young couple came in. The young lady said to me, 'I love your hat.' It was my moss green felt/copper ribbon Penman. I said thank you. It's always nice to get a genuine compliment.- scottyrocks
