Thank you for the info. I am not sure where I read it but I went back to the "Book". I bought the Book a few months ago but have not read it except the Starglove part.
It says second label is 40s to about 1952. It is possible that they still have a bunch of old labels that they use around...
Col. Huglin the CO who must have been in England before the 1st episode? His A-2 does not have any crease or wear. Anyway jacket is the icing, the cake is kind of bland.
I think Buco changed the label after 1951 to the 3rd label. The J-72 is a J-71 with a mouton collar and no zipper stop. J-65 is a J-71 without epaulet and half belt. So not really just a change of numbering.
The original 60s Beck 666 has the wide shoulder narrow chest pattern. I gave up trying to find a "right" size 666. I still have the size 38 that I bought some years ago.
Well, made an offer on a Star Sportswear 7823D contract year 1971 before I see the Field and Stream so end up with this one too. Collar not washed and curled up like most.

Should be able to find their trademark/logo on the button. I think Ibex only make leather belts now.
No expert but 60s.
Label according to collectors is 50 to 60s but Levi's Type 3 which this is based on came out in 1962. Some suggest that it is 50s based on the label but as said the design is 60s.

These are licensed product. Schott Japan got the licence to develop their own design and source from China, Vietnam etc. Most if not all are fashion mall quality with the Schott brand name.
The thing is as Canuck Panda has pointed out, there are other aspects that contribute to how one feel wearing a jacket. Apart from the rather 2D measurements like chest, waist, the armhole width is a part that people often overlook. With a large armhole, you will feel less tight and it offers...
1) I am not sure they have made the 19110 in this shade of brown. I don't remember seeing them making this colour in the last few years. 19110 means 2019 model. 9110 means 2009 model. IMO it is a 9110 and not 19110.
You can see the 2013 blog of a dealer that I think is the only time RM...
There is normally a Real McCoy's label in the pocket.
Here is a link of the same jacket.

I got the A-2 and a 1966 N-2B at 20%off last month using Buyee. I just let them sit in their warehouse while using the 20% Toys coupon to scoop up some toys. 30 days almost up so paid for shipping last week. This week, i saw the AllState at quite a bargain and From Japan is giving 15% coupon...
I do think the military A-2 are thinner than civilians. The discolouration on this A-2 is as I had hoped just discolouration. No crack, seams are holding up. Lining is torn though. With the yen down and bad economy in Japan (lots of coupons from prixy service), i am getting deals on jackets...
