Odd to put myself in a position of defending these people, but they're speaking of the patterns and they're trying to explain their inspirations for then, however inelegantly.
Still, I am sure they are the foremost authorities on their own opinions.
I’m impressed with the clothes...
Daisy Buchanan took some photos of me tonight. I am very impressed with her work! Thanks Daisy! :eusa_clap :)
Here's some Photoshop fun:
In a Connery frame of mind!
Some other photos, Gents!
This should give a good idea of the back.
This is a great jacket for travel, very sharp, very comfortable and easy to dress up.
Banana Republic was never a real safari outfitter. It was never what Abercrombie & Fitch was. It was a retailer of khakis and cool jackets that got lucky when "Raiders..." made the look popular. They did have outstanding catalogues and some items. The photojournalist vest was a classic.
This...
Thank you Snookie, Matt and everyone. You've given me a lot to think about.
I am amazed at how attached I am to this article of clothing. It's tough to let it go. I recently found my first Massachusetts driver's license from the early 90s and there I am in that suit.
Alas, the waistcoat...
Thanks Fellows, I think you're correct, I really do.
Honestly though, there are times you get emotionally attached to these articles of clothing. I'm gonna miss it.
Well, Dear Friends,
Somewhere in one of the dry cleaning threads, I bragged about how I have had this suit forever, have worn it once a week, and have dry cleaned it about every other month or so; all true.
I should have known I was cursing myself.
So, the other day, while feeding Cheryl's...
I've moved this to GA&A because that is where most, if not all, of the other fountain pen threads are. At some point, I may consolidate this into one of the others.
I used to carry a Cross Apogee all of the time. That pen writes as well as any of my more expensive pens. It retails for less...
This wasn't an issue for me at all, so I cannot comment. Is your television relatively new? I was watching it in HD; I don't know whether that made a difference. [huh]
Oh, and I'll take you over to the Adams house. It's modest, but resonates of the man and his wife.
This series is fantastic. Some of the best television in a very long time. This makes the Revolution real, and personal. You see the 18th C in all of its mud soaked and pock-faced glory. You see the fear in these men's faces as they put their life, liberty, and sacred honor on the line for their...
Some theaters serve dinner while you watch the film. That's the way to go for me; multi-tasking in the multiplex. ;) There really isn't a compelling reason to go to the theater anymore.
I believe the trend is for home theaters and that movie theaters will eventually become something similar...
People click around in MySpace from one user to another. If your page is interesting enough, people stay awhile. A blog wouldn't funnel people in as much.
MySpace is a tool and an effective one at that. I have met a lot of people through there and have made enough money from my burgeoning photography business to pay for all of my equipment, my camera, my lenses, all of it; all through MySpace.
I have also used it to great effect to promote my...
Coming out of left field here, but I have been crazy about April March, especially "Chick Habit." Reminds me of Serge and that ye ye sound of French pop in the sixties.
