    Show us your suits

That's only one half of the community. The other half refers to tight-fitting clothes as emo/goth/punk. My mother has told me on countless ocassions that my fit looks bad. Any waist tuck or slimness whatsoever doesn't go well with her. She uses the word, "womanly" alot.

    Show us your suits

Baron, I'm not exaggerating when I say that is the best jacket I have ever seen. I have a really soft spot for a brown 1930's suit, and that one is just...I can't even explain it. Let's just say there is nothing I would want different on that jacket. Being as you and I are about the same...

Custom Hybrid Raiders of the lost ark fedora

That is the oddest looking thing I have ever seen. What a beautiful piece of work. Great hat, Jimmy.

The Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard

Yeah, that's the kind of guy that doesn't deserve to have a marriage in the first place.

    New glasses???

I really do like those. That is a perfect eyeglass look - I'm dissapointed that they've changed so much. Are they a particular era of vintage?

    Jacket too small?

Honestly if the sleeves were corrected I think it would be a fine look.

NEWS FLASH: Lost Scenes from 'Metropolis' Found

Totally cool. This is a really historical event.

    Jacket too small?

The smaller the better if you ask me. In a world where jackets are actually tailored to fit two sizes too big, a small fit is a nice thing to have.

Belted back, double breasted, and linen - by Ralph Lauren?!?

I did actually talk to the saleperson. He said that they carried no other sizes than what was on the shelf.

What is the butt supposed to look like?

I worded it poorly. Actually, my tailor did suggest that I have the seat taken in, not asked. KsChurch, how did you KNOW I was talking about your trousers? :p They do actually fit me pretty well in the butt. After looking at BK's reference photos, I really only needed them taken in about a...

    Vintage Eyeglasses

I think that if they are 1980's you should be fine. From my experience plastics take a really long time to get brittle enough to break from adjustment. You'd be surprised how well they hold up. I would go for the hot water, but if nothing else take them to an experienced optometrist. You...

What is the butt supposed to look like?

Perhaps I should posting this in the general attire section... I have a pair of high-waisted vintage-repro trousers that I took in to the tailor today to have shortened. The tailor was asking me if there was anything else I needed done, and...I started looking at the butt. Maybe I just didn't...

Belted back, double breasted, and linen - by Ralph Lauren?!?

At the mall, I stepped in the Ralph Lauren store, not really expecting to find anything particularly interesting. Literally after 3 seconds in the door I was magnetized to this jacket sitting on a dummy. A white blazer. Upon closer inspection it was made of a heavyweight linen - I would...

Pleasant surprise at the mall today...

I was at the local ritz mall today and I saw somebody that really struck me as cool. He was probably early 20's age. He was wearing a very nicely fitting navy blue, two-button blazer, with white pants and, I think, saddle shoes. Some sort of red tie, and a white shirt under the jacket. He...
