Different here in the UK. It's very hard to find vintage workwear - British or French - in modern sizes. People worked hard but they weren't big in our terms - tough as nails, of course. Bad nutrition, bad working conditions, living conditions...- pipvh

This is true. You've got a lifetime of mucking around with your beard/no beard beard/no beard conundrum. I'd recommend letting the whole thing really grow out for as long as you can stand it, seeing what you look like with a proper, full beard - how the hair grows, where it's thickest etc - and... -

My personal view - as a frequently bearded hat-lover - is that it's a much more difficult question than it ought to be. The North Sea jumpers look great - seen them in Earlham Street and will no doubt end up with one. But I have to recommend Black Sheep (link on the previous page). Am I right in thinking, though, that this Cagleco contract had both the USN stencil and the perforated windflap? So might be the original collar badly re-attached after fur removal? Definitely a nice jacket regardless.- pipvh
