Up here in Canada whenever I ship anything out I’ve been using net parcel. It usually gives me a courier price that’s almost always cheaper than the post, and way cheaper than the standard courier prices.
Aren’t people generally talking about the front end, ie tanning process, when they refer to the greener aspects of vegtan leather? That’s the impression I’ve gotten anyway, with the assumption that when the usable life of the piece is over, there will also be a relative decrease in pollution...
Yeah it’s fun except for not being able to try anything on except by purchasing it, usually in circumstances that foreclose on any financially viable return…

Here’s another naive question: what weight of cotton would you choose for a lining? I think I’d like a selvedge due to it’s potential balance of breathability and robustness, but of course the range is vast, from gossamer shirtings to some of the ridiculous denims that IH et al indulge in. FYI...
