I’m kind of the other way in that if I’m wearing a jacket it will be taken off and put on multiple times in a day whereas my trousers tend to stay with me the whole time, so I leave my valuables in those pockets. I am a minimalist though and don’t wear tight trousers, so it’s not visually...
My current winter jacket is an older version of that, with hood being lined with wool along with a few other differences. Probably much rougher shape, though I only paid $50 CAD.
Keeping in mind that I'm a know-nothing, I'd say they do seem big compared to the body, but if going smaller would in any way create discomfort then leave the measurements as they are. Comfort > Insta-fits.
Can’t speak to that as I don’t have anything from 5*, but if I was to get a lined leather jacket I’d opt for the all cotton or the wool that I mentioned.
Done and done ‘er.
Fits better, way less sweaty, and a little lighter - what’s not to like?
Well, it did expose some less than stellar stitching, but I don’t think it’s structural.
