Nice Schott there. Slightly different variation with the handwarmer pockets. Looks like a later version judging by the label. They're getting harder to find!
I have a soft spot for those vintage Schott suede Type 3 trucker jackets...especially since the sleeves are a bit longer than the vintage Levis equivalent. And the suede is soft, thick and heavy. I just got this one in- in the rare sand color.
It's the same jacket and same color- I just used a different camera in a different location. It's hard to get the depth and saturation of color on this jacket...it's actually a bit more brown than in the photos. Good catch!
Offering a Johnson Leathers M200 J variation in a brown Horween “Vermont” Espresso Horsehide. (Horween's "Vermont" hide is a "full grain" hide in a 1.5-2.5 oz weight, in a combo chrome/vegetable dye.) Beautiful leather patina- shows lots of grain. The variation on the M200j is an added an extra...
Yep- I was looking at this one too. It's been up for a while. Unfortunately the seller has moved to Colorado, so I can't go over and try it on. And it looks like a project. Do I really need another project?
Yep. Still have it...and it's still my favorite Cal Leather jacket. Beat, thrashed and good for another 50 years- Gwen really did a good job bringing it back to life. And there's nothing like a jacket with lots of character.
If I have a chance, I'll try to take a fit pic in the next few days. :-)
