    I'm not too familiar with that camera, but a couple pointers: -Use a macro mode if your camera has one -Get nice and close -Pull out the manual. See if your camera has an aperture priority mode, and how to use it. Try setting your aperture to the widest setting, or at least close to it...

    I have a Canon S90 and it's a ton of bang for buck, and the S95 is essentially the same camera plus HD video. Probably the best P&S camera out there at the moment.
