My parents have been hitting up a local auction, and picked up a couple of nice vintage (though unfortunately far too small for me) fedoras. I'll be putting them up on the classifieds soon, but was wondering if anyone could help me date them. First up is a Dobbs Homburg, tagged as a 7... -

zetwal, I didn't even know that thread existed! I'll be sure to post it. Bruce, it's not one of the Optimo 1000s if I recall correctly. Those are the "premium" felts right? The ones that come in lava, natural, etc. Beautiful felts, but out of my price range for now. BobC, thanks. :) -

I wear fedoras with jeans all the time, though almost always with a collared shirt with the sleeves rolled up. -

How often do you wear a hat?
If I'm out, there's a 99% chance I'm wearing a hat. That 1% is when I'm only stepping out for a minute, like checking the mailbox. Haven't started wearing them inside the house... yet. -

Great hat Delectans. I finally got to visit Optimo last week and my do those milans look nice! Being a bit out of season though I didn't pick one up. Then I fly back to So Cal and it's 90 degrees out of nowhere.
