I don't think the grommets really distract me that much. I think it's just that we all grew up watching westerns, and they didn't have them, so it's something we are not used to. I liked the looks of it, and the Mansfield one also. -

Yes it did sir. I had been looking at pics while waiting on it to arrive, and trying to decide what I wanted to do to the crown. What I settled on when I started this morning, wasn't quite getting it, so somehow, it morphed into this, and I think it works nicely. And reminds me of John Wayne... -

Vintage roadside

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?
Wore my old 3x Stetson today. I’ve been trying my hand at sewing my own ribbons. I like to change the look from time to time. I make them to be taken off, not sewn to the hat. Did the one on the hat this morning at work, and the other one as well. -
