Just wanted to say I can vouch for Ivano - I bought 4 from him and he was very accommodating with my layaway. Plus the lids themselves are quality pieces. Only wish a few of these was in a 7 1/8 or 7 1/4!
Stunning Daniele! I suspect I might've been the one bidding against you - now you're making me regret not going for more! :P
Wow! What a dream hat Steve - I'm green with envy.
Wow Stefan the treatment on that Barbisio is certainly eye catching! If you've just described it to me, I would not have thought that it would work as well as it does in real life!
That's quite a unique, and as you say, flashy colour on the Anton Pichler.
It was quite a bit of luck on my part - a collector in Germany found some deadstock hats - which included the Jota - I got both of them in the same deal! Fortunately for me, both are in a 57 :)
Finally took better pictures of the Hückel Incroyable I shared a while back. For those interested I'm looking to move on either to sell or trade. It's 59cm or thereabouts and just too big for my 57cm head even with lots of foam - so rather see it go to a home where it can be enjoyed.

Finally got around to wearing new 30s German 3/4 belt sportcoat. Paired with a pre-war Huckel Jota.
Sorry Matt only saw your post now, will try to get onto it!
Damn fine felt Huckels. No doubt it'll find a good home -can't imagine this being around for long...if only I didn't already spend this month's spending money ;_;
Thanks - I'll post more photos in the French hatmakers thread Inc with arrives. I had a dig and found your post on your Ecuyer & Thomas - very enlightening read!
Knocking it out of the park again Steve - an absolute beauty you have right there. Out of interest, how often do you come across earlier hats sans-liner?
