Attack of the Giant Boater
Yes, 'Sailor Straws' was what my father (b. 1914) and his father called them, and they were owners of them back when they were still in style. Might have been a Detroit thing but I carry on the tradition of calling them that rather than skimmers or boaters.- HarpPlayerGene
