Restoring my Grandmother's Singer Sewing Machine
What happens when you try and sew with that machine? From what I can see, the thread-tension discs are all the way out. That would make the thread (and the sewing) extremely loose and floppy. It would jsut bunch up and make a god-awful mess. You need to push the two tension-discs back up against...- Shangas

I saw that on the news last night. Fascinating story. Hitler really was a careful eater. Apparently there were three or four of these food-tasters. Not sure if the others are still alive, though. -

I don't wear it that often. I find a black homburg only goes with other black clothing. It looks terrible with the more light-coloured stuff that I generally wear. But I was wearing mostly black when I went out for dinner tonight, so I brought it along with me. -
