Rag&BoneMan that tray is just stunning. I say it's definitely worth the professional scrub-up.
Did a Jeeves come along with it? I think to own a tray like that, you require a dapper English valet with an encyclopedic knowledge of absolutely everything.
It is Winter here in Australia (yes we have winter here).
My UGG boot slippers have disintegrated into dust (literally) after just one year of use. This is the second pair of ugg boots which I have worn out, in two years. Despite the fact that I only wear them for five or six months in a...
You bought two and a half kilos of STERLING SILVER for FIVE DOLLARS?
Ladies and Gentlemen of the Lounge, may I present the Thrift-Shop and Flea-Market Find winner for 2013. RagandBoneMan, please step forward for the prize of a gold top hat.
Those cheap cardboard thingies are useless. I wanted to buy one once, but it was so flimsy it nearly fell apart in my hand the moment I picked it up. I love those chrome steel sleeve-garters. They're just snappy :)
The only chicken nuggets I eat are the ones I buy from the butcher which are made with real chicken. Not genuinely authentic simulated artificial processed chicken-flavoured purified meat-substitute.
At the back of the machine is the BALANCE WHEEL (also called the handwheel).
The silver "clutch-wheel" inside is what controls the needle-bar.
Loosening the clutch-wheel disengages the needle-mechanism. The handwheel will then spin freely, without driving the needle-bar. This is so that you...
G.E.F: I like the blue vest and the glasses and collar-bar. Very snappy.
G.I.J: That bicycle is really neat. What make & model, and how old is it? I love vintage bicycles. One day I'd like to own one.
So do I. It's my favourite dish.
It's easy to make, it's easy to cook, and you can put whatever you want into it.
It's a great way to use up all the crap leftover in your fridge.
I'm in the same boat as Papaya. Mostly my shoes just get completely worn out.
I don't have a car, so I walk everywhere. As a result my shoes get a lot of use and abuse. Most of them are lucky to last more than a couple of years.
Is it a possibility that it isn't the correct needle to begin with? Or that the needle, while correct, isn't properly seated in the needle-bar? Those are two possible reasons for it not sewing properly, provided that everything else is hunky-dory.
Most Singer sewing machines use needles with a D-shaped shank. The flat side goes up against the neelde-bar, and the round side faces outwards. Usually, it's flat side to the right, the round side to the left. But there are some machines which use circular, O-shanked needles. I think these are...
I really like the History Channel, but I agree, it has its flaws.
I love its documentary series, but some of them are really...bleh.
I was really looking forward to "The Men Who Built America", but after watching it...I dunno. It was just...it seemed weak? Like they rushed it, and made it...
