    Unrealistic expectation I do not think a simple stretch will increase ANY hat four sizes, as you hoped to do, to say nothing of FIVE sizes. Ain't. Gwine. Happen. Wait, what?...Borsalino "made in the USA"? Something is fishy here.

    Yeah, I got 36 & wear 33/34. They are meant to be cuffed (IMO) so I didn't worry too much about inseams. I have found they WILL shrink & are best to line/air dry.
