    Clownish?:eusa_doh: If you look at pictures from the early 20th century the top hat was worn with lounge suits and stroller jackets. If done right it works just like anything else. You just have to be careful when you break the rules but if you know what your doing thats where creativity comes in.

    Its hard to tell in the picture but in real life the shirt stripe is much wider than the suit's chalkstripe.

    My late 1930's Double Breasted Suit.

    The suit is a Brooks of California. It is 6x2 with a nipped waist and roped shoulders. The color is navy with a mid-grey chalkstripe and is paired with my mid-grey Gus Miller fedora.
