Clownish?:eusa_doh: If you look at pictures from the early 20th century the top hat was worn with lounge suits and stroller jackets. If done right it works just like anything else. You just have to be careful when you break the rules but if you know what your doing thats where creativity comes in. -

Only a silk or beaver top hat. I have no problem wearing them, they look great with white tie and morning dress.;) -

Its hard to tell in the picture but in real life the shirt stripe is much wider than the suit's chalkstripe. -

My late 1930's Double Breasted Suit.
The suit is a Brooks of California. It is 6x2 with a nipped waist and roped shoulders. The color is navy with a mid-grey chalkstripe and is paired with my mid-grey Gus Miller fedora. -

Why did you roll up your sleeves loosen your tie and take off your jacket for school. When I go to school I never do. Do they not let you wear a jacket to school???[huh] You look so good in the first picture why would you purposley not look as good?- metropd
