Buyer's remorse can't be worse than seller's remorse... money you can always come by one way or the other... but something rare you sold won't come back.
Low button stance (below pockets) was not unusual on European late 20's DBs.
BTW this suit had one of the highest trousers rises I have encountered. Well above the navel.
Here a ca. 1928-30 photo from Iran showing low set buttons and pockets.
I found it yesterday at a goodwill.
It is a size 41... I will take in maybe one or two inches to make it fit my waist.
The body, sleeves and legs are fortunately long enough for me, so it certainly will be a keeper.
A very versatile suit in such excellent condition (probably worn only on one...
I used to have three or four such jackets in your size from the 1930's, but I sold them long time ago.
Sorry, this is no great help for you. Check ebay.co.uk. They often have black stroller jackets your size.

Sure a costume tailored for a woman will look more womanly and flattering to her figure. But a slight comedic/cute effect was...
Ah thanks for the clarification.
My point was that unlike most other "ethnic/enemy cliche" wrestlers, these two were really from the respective background.
No doubt about that... he catered to the expectations/ignorance of the average audience which didn't know the difference between...
The actors of "Yamamoto" and "Iron Sheik" were ethnically Japanese and Iranian and born in the respective countries.
"Iron Sheik" Vaziri was cool before he started with this silly "Arab Sheik"-shtick... as an Iranian! :eusa_doh:
Every single of my 1920-40's suits, tuxedos and tailcoats has been at the drycleaners and I never had a problem.
Grosgrain or satin lapels - nothing bad happened. I have two cleaners: a "regular" cheaper store where I get price off for quantity and a somewhat more expensive "family" store...
