would very much depend on the last shape. as discussed on this thread, modern makers seem reluctant to attempt anything as contoured as the teens-early 20s boot lasts. or possibly they're just indifferent / oblivious to the difference.

suits and jackets in the late 50s - early 60s period aren't difficult to find, so far better to concentrate on finding an original than trying to recut a jacket into something it wasn't meant to be.
altering lapels is a specialist job, and could easily go wrong if you're...

that's a nice last shape, but i don't like the pull tab half way down the back like that.
anyway, Vass are way out of my price range at around £750 - £900 for boots.
yes, when you see it on the dummy, the shoulders look too wide for that 1918-22 style.
the sleeve lining and overall finish looks nice.
