Flo, since you've put two colours together which often cause debate (blue and green) here's two more which have a similar effect; brown and black:
well, i think teens is a safe bet, but i couldn't be more accurate.
we just don't have enough clear photos of British suits of that period to compare it to.
yeah, there's none in my catalogues from 20-23 so this could be the first outing.
in case anyone is wondering if i'd wear that suit (or recreate it)... no i wouldn't.
jazz suits pretty much stand on the outer-limit of wearability for me, and the addition of flares (shudder) pushes it well...
while most FLers seem to prefer the broader 10.5 - 11" caps of the 20s and 30s, there are numerous examples of narrower caps from before that period such as these from the mid teens:

i asked the seller about the size of the trousers and they're a 38" waist, 34" inside leg.

i don't understand why that option for buttoning the neck isn't mentioned in period advertising (with a small diagram) if that's what it's intended for.
