Viktor - the color itself was not my favorite. I just never wore it. I've had one each of Glen Grey, Silverbelly, and Taupe Fawn, and Silverbelly just suits me better. Just personal preference. Frank -
Brand New Modern Open Road 7 3/4
I've only had this a few months, and never worn it out of the house. I wanted to see what the new Open Roads were like, and it did not disappoint. Only problem for me is that I'm way too extra long oval for modern Stetsons, and they don't make this one in 7 7/8. No stains, no damage, no funky...- frussell

Good old Gene. I forgot he had a store. He was a good friend of my grandfather's, and I still have pretty regular contact with his widow Jackie. Their house here is pretty amazing, and still has a lot of Gene's original gear. Nice score JTL. Beautiful in every way. Frank -
