Today's goodwill find ! I was looking through all of the ugly 90s jackets and came across this wonderful 80s tweed belt back and could not pass it up .
I love the 3 roll 2 buttoning on the jacket .

If I want a spearpoint collar shirt would I just request it in the extra requirement category when ordering a shirt ?

Thanks . Since it's from warner brothers and has those actors names it musta been in a couple films . I am guessing one of them is this side of the law 1950 just by the date on the suit but haven't seen the movie to confirm yet .

Got my dobbs back. I think it's 50s not sure though . I got it at an estate sale for $5 an it was very dirty with a stained ribbon the hat looked brown originally it had a grey band that was very stained so I had a new one . I was gonna go dark green but they only had thin Ribbons in dark green...
So does that mean there aren't any Ernst ties made after 1970? I've seen a few of the ties before but wasn't sure if they were from the 80s or not

I think so. Some 80s power suits had wide lapels and some 90s suits did. Also most ties in the 90s were wide just with ugly colors and designs

Was at a vintage sale today I bought this nylon shirt and it was hot so I tossed my sportscoat and changed shirts. Hollyvogue tie, cavanagh hat, 70s suit pants

Got this a few weeks back but forgot to post it . A goodwill find . If anyone could help date it I'd appreciate it. I think 50s has no tags at all and no rear vent.

I got some great ties on Saturday. Just getting around to posting these. I'll post more close ups of the 40s ones when I get home . These all came from an estate sale of a Whittier home that was built by Richard Nixon's grandparents and at some point he lived there. I think the house stayed in...
I know I feel like that all the time . One thing I forgot to mention is the trousers for that suit are high waisted single pleated and cuffed.
