If you really want to know, today I am wearing a pair of very lightweight pale olive Filson cotton pants, a thin pale blue Brooks Brothers button-down shirt, a green patterned necktie that came from J.C. Penney probably 10 or 15 years ago, maybe earlier and a pair of brown suede Red Wing shoes. I'm not sure if they're really Red Wings but that's what it says on the sole. That's probably all you need to know for now.
One of about three outfits I'm going to be wearing every day for the next six months. Space is tight!
The remains of a '30s-'40s Barclay fedora. Ralph Lauren leather jacket, studded belt and shirt, LVC jeans, Blundstone boots.
I was wearing my new red bow tie until I took the pictures for the vintage stuff I found at the flea market/thrift store/tag sale. I'm guessing this clip-on bow tie is from either the late 1950s or the early 1960s. I really like it!
Was at a vintage sale today I bought this nylon shirt and it was hot so I tossed my sportscoat and changed shirts. Hollyvogue tie, cavanagh hat, 70s suit pants
Polo Ralph Lauren trousers, a Luxire shirt with Klipper tie and my Stylemaster hat. The real star is of course Cpl Jone's troop carrier, the original from the Dad's Army museum.
Not today (there may be photos later, of course, as it's graduation day for my undergraduate charges), but Saturday just gone, at this year's Chap Olympiad.
