I still use "Bounder", "Cad", "Blackguard", "Philanderer" and other such unsavory terms.
It's nice to revive them so that you can insult people without them knowing what the hell you're saying.
The Lounge seems to focus on everything from the Late Victorian era (1880s) up to the 1960s, so I'd be very surprised if you couldn't find an Edwardian-20s discussion-area here somewhere. Or maybe the mods could create something.

When we removed all the wallpaper from our house, we used specially-made wall-paper steamers. The hot steam melts the glue underneath the wallpaper, and then you just peel it off like a sticker (or scrape it off with a paint-scraper, if it's being stubborn).

It looks British. I think they call it the Woseley pattern. I'm after a pithy. But I want a French or American-style. Looks more civilian and less military.
