Hmmm,.. only a little damage on that one. I think you may have done pretty well. It seems to me that sales have been down in general lately. Bad for selling, good for buying.
Show us when you get it! :)
GREAT SUIT! :eusa_clap
If there aren't suspenders buttons on those trousers I'd have them added. You can then tweak the 'ride height' of those britches to your liking. :)
I agree with you getting vintage ties to go with that one - and if you get around to purchasing a fedora with a...
I gave the little gooseneck number a make-over today.
Scraped off the old felt on bottom piece and cleaned off the rust:
Naturally, I had to use new old stock sandpaper  :p :
Cleaned, painted and polished:
New felt on bottom:
In its new environment: :)
Really? All splattery like that? Interesting. I'll leave this one as-is. Thanks.
The base on yours is the BEST I've ever seen. :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap
lol :)
Thanks, but it's funny how the photo cleans it up. This one's actually more on the beater side. Faded and sweat-stained ribbon, totaled sweatband (but still hangin' in there). One of my go-to felts in the summer heat.
Now, isn't it past your bedtime, young man?... :p

Well, for better or worse I went back and picked up the fifties floor lamp. Functions properly and came with bulbs ta' boot. If only someone had been a bit more careful when slinging paint around it. I'm adding this to my little infirmary here. Hopefully I can restore it to nearly new...
Douglas, that Weekender really grabs me. :eusa_clap

Neo', the three-quarter shot shows off all the best of that lid. Good goin'!

Champ Featherweight today:
I was a little too groggy to get photos but here's what happened in our vintage home last night:
At about 3:30AM, I was partially awakened by a couple of our cats scrambling into the bedroom and pouncing on the bed - and me. I also sort of felt something small bounce off my shoulder and...
I'll keep my eyes open for you.
FWIW, tomorrow I'm going back to a thrift store that hopefully still has the big daddy version of that lamp. A floor standing model with three teardrop heads on it. I've studied it and passed on it because it's big and it needs a lot of restoration. But it's...
Yep, Richard, Oldhamii it is. I have to keep chopping off most of the new shoots when they surface to keep them from overrunning the paths and my hammock! Turns out, those shoots are edible. Hmmm,... Might have to try that someday. :)
