I'm not an expert in fans but I have a couple old desk top jobs. The pedestal versions, I would imagine, are more suited to industrial situations.

It happens that I have a vintage waist coat of a more typical style, so here's how the ensemble looks if I were to wear it to a function (of course, I'd have to sort out what shirt and neckwear is appropriate as well as procuring a topper, I suppose.):
Both the coat and the waist coat have thread weakened from age, so a couple buttons were missing from sleeves when I got it - and a couple buttons have dropped off the waist coat from me fastening them. The suit has one small hole and a couple weak seams, but mostly it's in amazingly good...
Here's the 'heavenly' part. It appears to me that the waist coat is particular to the clergy:

Got this for $35 at an antique mall over the weekend.
PLEASE, give me your opinions. Many of you know a vast amount more than I about these sorts of things. I could just tell it is quite heavy, well-made and obviously old.
Oh, and by odd coincidence, it FITS my 6',1" thin frame nearly...

Wore these woven leather derbies the other day. Uppers remind me of some '30s styles I've seen. Unfortunately, these modern takes have glued on plastic soles which I'm sure will separate before too long...
Whaddya' say, guys? Vintage? '50s? '60s? Later?...
The lack of synthetics and the "Sanforized" bit always makes me think of it as an older piece but the style of coveralls hasn't changed much in a while. [huh]

Got these two at an antique mall over the weekend.
{BTW, they also had two or three others which were obviously '40s and were VERY WIIIIIDE. So much so that they scared even me. :eek: lol Definite "Bold Look" stuff. They were beautiful designs though...
