    Thanks, guys! I'm getting more comfortable with the naptha, and this hat deserved some TLC after a long life of hard use. I've got some more Lexol on the sweat now. Walmart has Coleman fuel for $12-something but this other brand right next to it for $7.87 so I took the last 4 off the shelf.

    I picked up some fresh naptha/campstove fuel last night so I could get cleaning on the new ebay Knox 15 while it's cool in the morning. Grabbed the Moose River hat, made by Stetson for LL Bean.

    @Michael A , Check out the movie Gold with Matthew McConaughey on Netflix. His partner, Acosta, has a hat that looks like it has a similar weave and texture to your Hopoka straw.
