I'm with Perry. Never had any fear of heights until I passed 35 or so. Now something like Blackthorn's photo would freak me out completely. Weird, but I remember my dad getting panicky crossing the bridge at the Royal Gorge, and thinking he was a big baby. I wonder sometimes if it's age-related. -

Hats for strong winds?
A nice soft felt fedora from Art or Tony B would work just fine. Old cowboys often worked in high winds without taking their hats off, because the brims were not stiff like today's production hats. Some may have started stiff, but a good rainstorm or a dunk in a stock tank takes care of that...
