Wearing my upturned wide brim fur felt hat again today. Made it more than a decade ago but has survived the passage of time well despite being thoroughly used.

To me, "thoroughly used" means a wonderful patina, experience! Still Fantastic!!

Best, Eric -
The texture of that felt looks really nice. The green hat's a beauty too, I like the ribbons/bows on both of them.

first time wearing this Borsalino
what a wonderfully comfortable hat

I wouldn't have been able to resist that hat for that long, it would have been straight on my head! You can see in the pictures how comfortable it is, the felt looks so beautifully malleable...

Mid-50s or so back bow Resistol. Very chocolaty with an underwelt and sloppy crease.

Originally sold in Paducah, KY. I just love saying, "Paducah."

Paducah.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
The sloppy crease works fine, I like it :)

Wearing my black Woomera while enjoying a tomahawk shaped group 2 pipe gifted to me a while back by a Lounger & brother of the briar. Watching my dog run...it is a glorious day!

That does sound like a nice day. Those pictures are great, I can see your dog in the reflection of your sunglasses!

Hey folks!
It's not quite a warm day, but after a billion and two days of rain, a little dryness and spotty sun sure feels nice. Wearing my Pilgrim.

A break in the wind is being appreciated as well.
Have a great day!

Still love that bow... That blue sky sure looks nice, send some of that sunshine over here, will you?

It must mean it was made by an excellent milliner ;) Every time you post a picture of you wearing that hat I think I need one like it!

Trying out a new camera today as my old one is having issues. Now that I have a backup I dare to look into them.

Some mighty fine hat around here lately. Keep up the good work.

Love that back bow Champ. The ribbon has some interest as well. Cool Michael!

"One morning they searched his adobe
He disappeared without even a word
But that night as the moon crossed the mountain
One more coyote was heard"

Every time I hear that song all I can see is the bush pilot that found the "Grizzly Man's" remains. He was listening to it, and substituted Treadwell's name for one of the things that were "gone." I love Don Edwards, and have been lucky to hear him and talk to him several times. He's the real deal, and has killer hats.
