I suppose you could. I just tried it on again this morning, and I was wondering the same thing myself. I got a good length of foam "shim" material when I got my modern Florentine Milan Stetson. I could put that under the brim tomorrow and see how it feels.

I posted pics of this hat when I first got it, under $30 IIRC, but these will be the first head shots, I think. The color is pretty accurate on my screen, kind of a dark moss color.
The ends of the satin (?) twisted rope used for the hat band had frayed and the insides were a different color...

Thanks! You inspired the photo, clearly. The hat is certainly a step up from the Justin 4X... which I think is 4X cardboard... The 5X Stetson at least has fur felt in the blend.
And I like the minimalist mule kicks front and back. I think it adds a nice touch to the ubiquitous Cattleman crease.
