Haven't been around much lately. Time to get back with it.
Couple shots from several weeks ago.
{Also, look for my upcoming posts of thrift store scores including a few cool vintage shirts, jackets, etc. I'd like to get some feedback from those in-the-know...}
While you're there, take a look at my other auctions!
Thx,
G

Same here.
I have around a hundred hats, ranging from c. 1900 to the 1990s. I have no "new" hats or customs. All have been bought used or as New Old Stock.
My preference in all things style (suits, hats, shoes, ties,...) is mid-'40s to mid-'50s.
I held off from choosing a category.
Yeah, that's a little odd. I've handled some slightly used recently produced SAs and the corrected grain leather skins up easily revealing a very light core.
Good point, thanks! Used to be more apparent when your were reaching capacity when the gauge was at the top of the page but now it's sort of hidden at the bottom and I think we lose track of when it's full.

This is the second one of these cryptic posts with links at bottom from a new Indian member I've seen in a couple days. Only one post for the other one also. FYI...
I like having a few vintage cameras around for decor purposes. Sort of gives the 'film noir private eye' or 'hardboiled newspaper reporter' vibe to the ol' office environment.
But you guys who actually know how to use that old gear really knock me out!
I knew (had a feeling, anyway) I was botching his name spelling as I typed it in earlier posts and just plowed forward. Of all the pin-up artists - and I have big books full of many, many works - he is my all-time favorite. You'd think I'd know how to spell his name by now. :o
