I got a 3X for 70 bucks in near-mint condition, but it wasn't a Western, it was a 50's-era fedora. Still, I count myself very lucky - I was really wowed by the quality. It's a fantastic hat.- Guardian Enzo

Thanks 89. I requested what I would call a quintessentially American style, so it'll be interesting to see how she does with that. I haven't seen it confirmed, but being in Lisbon I would think Luisa is getting hat bodies from FEPSA. That would certainly explain why the felt is softer and...- Guardian Enzo

Well, I took the plunge - "risk it for a biscuit" as Ralfy Mitchell would say. The price is right, anyway. I gave Luisa a pretty extensive list of what I was looking for, and I'm definitely aiming high with the styling. I'll post pics when the hat arrives.- Guardian Enzo
