How do folks react to your hat wearing?
When I go to the gun club to shoot skeet I often wear one of my fedoras. I get, "Do you wear a different hat everyday?!" I take it as a compliment. -

Thank you much Bowlerman. The feather is from a Golden Campine. What is odd about this particular feather it has an iridescence at the end which I have never seen on any other of their feathers. So yes it fits the hat! BTW the color is dark cherry. Yeah Bob Art made a nice one. -

Yup, J, I just sent in a hat for a new liner, sweat, and ribbon. The ostrich and one of the paisley liners would be stellar. It's enough to know the hat is in good hands. A Bob does awesome work. I had him de-coboy a hat for me and add the band and lining. -

Thanks for the compliment Tommy. It's a 10' hat lol. Kinda like a 10' paint job on a car. And thanks for the input on how to get the ribbon to lay down. Mine doesn't real well in some places for the reasons you guys stated. But it's an ok knock arounder. -
What did you get for Christmas?
Santa brought me a beautiful sundial. It was specifically made for my latitude & longitude. Gnomone & dial both made from brass. It really is a functional piece if artwork. I just have it on my deck right now. Going in the garden this spring. It tells the correct time with in a minute!- Killick

What are your hobbies?
I worked with a fellow in Pa. that ballroom danced. I heard he was quite good at it. Always had some cloths and shoes in his car. Myself I'd love to learn do dance to swing music. But alas I have the rhythm of a house plant. :(- Killick

Really good question. I got one negative comment a few days ago in a bar from a drunk dude. But all the positive ones certainly more than make up for one drunks negativity. Went to a Big Bad Voodoo Daddy concert Friday night. Afterwards we bought a CD and waiting in line to have them autograph... -
