Does anyone know about a hat company called Yale Co-Op? They are no longer in business. I can't find anything online. I thought the collective here may know. I will post pictures shortly of the specific hat a friend of mine has from her boyfriends grandfather.
This is a VS Custom from Art Fawcett. It's the light weight beaver from VS. I really wasn't wearing the hat as it just didn't feel right, (didn't care for the light weight felt). I was putting together a Halloween costume, an old western type codger character. So I transformed the hat into this...
Ok yeah these aren't the right pants then for you. These are thick so they don't conform well to the body as thinner R&R leather pants do. Give you that Richie Sambora look haha!
They really are nice pants.
To answer your question, unfortunately I think they'd be loose on you. As I said I am a 34 waist now, actually probably a 33 and they're loose on me. Even when they fit in the waist they were a bit loose in the legs also which was nice as to not bind up anywhere...
Thank you very much Ed. You are absolutely right it is rustic looking. My home is not rustic at all. Which is why I think it really looks nice on the wall. It's a big gray wall with just the clock on it.
I know this clock isn't vintage but it is mechanical :). I just got it yesterday. Romba makes these cuckoo clocks every so often. The board is 200 year old barn board. Maybe it is vintage after all! They send me pictures of 11 boards to choose from. I asked them a favor since the clocks had to...
Sorry to hear about the neuropathy. I have it also but still hanging in there. Good luck with the sale. I'm only an 8.5 -9 or I'd take a peak. I love my 4 pair of Tony Llamas and I'm not even a cowboy!
I've had these since the mid 90s but haven't worn them in nearly 25 years. They are in perfect condition. These are not rock-n-roller leather pants but true motorcycle pants. They weigh 4.2 lbs. Size 36 x 34 although I am now a 34 waist they fit albeit a tad loose. The inseam can be altered. I...
My Grandmother gave me this clock after my Grandfather passed away. She couldn't wind it anymore and knew I always liked it. I've been listening to it tick since the mid 60s. I did refurbish the case and had the dial hand painted back to original. I know to some that is sacrilegious but the case...
Nice find!
I have my Grandad's Model 14 in .32 Remington. It was his hunting rifle in Pa. There is a company that will make shells for the caliber as it is no longer available.
There is a fella in Pa. that has a bazillion on the Remington pump rifles. I had the pleasure of meeting him. He took...
Thank you much Hagwood. I'm sure you know they are brother & sister Cattledogs. Maxx, the spotted, (or is that speckled haha), is pretty much always on burglar patrol as you can see from his seriousness and Colby is a bit more laid back. You can tell by her 'smile'
