Happy ending on this one for me. Apparently the high bidder backed out, because I got a "second chance" offer from eBay on it today, and accepted it. I'm worried it'll be tight on me, but we'll see. Happy ending for me. The high bidder apparently backed out and I got a second chance offer, which I accepted. That's only the second time that's ever happened for me. It'll probably be a few weeks before it will arrive. Maybe just get a dremel tool and grind down the bottom diagonal stroke on...- Guppy

Great Leather/LCS repair Dena is AMAZING!!
I recall hearing about Great Leather on these forums some years ago, but never had given their business much thought, as I had no repair/alteration needs at the time. What I've done in the past has been to ask the seller to prove they have the item, by sending me a photo of the item with a hand-written sign that says something like "hi, guppy, [today's date] signed, seller". That establishes that they really have the item in hand, and aren't simply selling...- Guppy
