Adding to that, kakishibu (persimmon) dye reacts with sunlight (likely the UV part of it), and darkens considerably on exposure. I played with dyeing a natural vegtan belt with it - very cool. But the dye solution is pretty pricey in the US, and I did not want to start fermenting persimmons...
You're in Southern Cali, why would you ever need to zip it? Looks great. I was looking for a blue CR, but with my FL move that search is now aborted...
It was an unlabeled Cal... advertised as XS, but really a Small. Seller did not know what she had. I took a chance that it was not an XS. Got a heads up from @JMax in the Finds thread.
PS - my two favorite jackets were around a hundred bucks each - this Cal and the 1950s HH Spiegel. I love...
