I was biking in it daily for six months as an underlayer, 2 washes. I don't bike in it anymore because it is too warm now, but I wear for shopping in the supermarket.
You might want to wet the shoulders and wear the jacket until dry while gently tugging at the sleeves. As the shoulders conform, you might gain 1/2 to 1-in in sleeve "length", while at the same time "narrowing" the shoulders a bit.
Lol, I did the same thing to my Schott CR windflap. Took scissors to it and cut it right off. Then I converted it to leather strips to be used on pulls.

I just have too much clothing. I was hoarding a bit during covid. And soon moving to South Florida is not conducive to getting more jackets. I have been selling. Looking forward to shorts and flip flops.
