    It's easier to ascertain the way a jacket truly fits and the proportions if you can take full length photos, from top to toe. To my eye the body looks too long also, by some distance, and this is especially evident on the rear view shot

    This is definitely more a 42 than it is a 40, as borne out by the measurements. A close examination of this pic taken just now reveals a) that the leather is not yet relaxed and b) that there's plenty of room left in the upper torso for my chest to expand. Maybe Ton can put me on the juice :)...
